This page is dedicated to those who have given some very special gifts and
donations to Pro-Bone-O.

 |
It would take more space than we have here
to try to express our feelings for Amanda Allender. Once again, she
showed how caring and compassionate and selfless she is. Last year,
Amanda asked for her birthday gifts to be ones for the pets that
Pro-Bone-O helps. For a 7 year old, we thought that was amazing.
Well, guess what? She did it again! Words
can't even begin to express how great we think Amanda is or what her
generosity means to everyone involved with Pro-Bone-O. All we can say
is:
"Thank
you, Amanda, with ALL our hearts." |

Mother's Day 2007
For our third annual Mother's Day card fund raiser, 1st graders at
Edgewood Community hand-crafted cards from origami paper. Every card was
unique and absolutely incredible.
These cards brought smiles to many mothers across the country as they
received their one-of-a-kind message of love.
These are two samples from this year's Mother's Day cards. We wish you
could see them in person because these images do not do these cards
justice. |

THANKS
TO THE FIRST-GRADE CLASS AT EDGEWOOD!
YOU ARE
JUST TOO COOL - AND SO ARTISTIC!! |

Aren't we just so lucky to have kids like Skye in our community? Not
only did he choose to spend some time at one of our clinics bagging food
for the pets, he later decided to make and bring them treats! Yummy!!
What a wonderful surprise for everyone!
THANK
YOU, SKYE!

Our Thank You's are
generally reserved for kids. It's our way of showing our community how
involved our younger generation is - how concerned and caring they are -
and what they are doing to help.
However, one organization
in our community has supported Pro-Bone-O's spay/neuter efforts over the
years and these donations deserve a very special Thank You.
S.A.R.A. is a wonderful
organization that assists and advocates for dogs and cats at local and
regional animal control shelters. It also assists other groups when
funds permit. Pro-Bone-O is one of the groups that has benefitted from
S.A.R.A.'s commitment to spaying and neutering companion animals.
S.A.R.A. recently donated
$100 to Pro-Bone-O to cover
the spay of a bully-type dog. This donation was one of many that
Pro-Bone-O has received over the years from S.A.R.A. Because of its
generosity, we have been able to spay and neuter many bully-breed dogs
and help in our small way to reduce the numbers of these dogs that face
uncertain futures, end up in shelters, or are routinely euthanized
simply because of the kind of dog they are.
We thank S.A.R.A. for its
continued support and belief in us. |

Once again kids show their incredible caring and compassion.
Students at Edgewood Community Elementary School have devoted their time
to bagging food and making dog treats for some very grateful recipients.
Our community is fortunate to have these young people growing up here.
They look beyond themselves, see a need and do something about it. How
much better does it get than that?
THANK
YOU EDGEWOOD!
YOU
ROCK!!

Who would have thought a 7 year-old girl would rather give to pets
of the homeless than to receive birthday presents? We know one who
does: Amanda Allender.
This generous, compassionate young lady decided that homeless pets
could use presents more than she could so she enlisted the aid of
friends and classmates and made a huge difference in the lives of these
pets - and their humans.
Amanda and her mom delivered food, treats, and toys to one of our
recent clinics and shared her birthday wish to everyone there. What an
incredible way to celebrate a birthday - giving and sharing in a way
that makes everyone feel good. Wow!
WAY TO
GO, AMANDA!!
THANK
YOU!! |

Pro-Bone-O was honored to be selected as a
community service project by Marty Smith's 2006 ACT classes at Roosevelt
Middle School.
We were delighted and surprised by the
commitment and energy the ACT students showed in their enthusiasm and
creativity to solicit donations for Pro-Bone-O.
And we were stunned to receive a huge
donation of toys, food, collars, leashes, treats, and a
$2,000 check to continue the much
needed veterinary care given to the beloved pets who are treated at our
clinics.
The ACT students are making a very big
difference in the lives of so many and on their behalf, we give a
heartfelt
THANK
YOU!!

Once again 1st
and 2nd grade classes at Edgewood Elementary School created these lovely
hand-made Mother's Day cards. In 2006, these cards were sent to mothers all over
the country as part of our second annual card fundraiser. Many mothers hearts
were touched and pets helped because of these cards.
THANK YOU!!
