Join Us for the Pro-Bone-O Rover Awards
The Pro-Bone-O Rover Awards benefit dinner and show will be held on Saturday May 6, from 7-10 pm at Sweet Cheeks Winery. This gala event is hosted by Pro-Bone-O, and all proceeds go directly to helping provide free veterinary care to pets of people who are homeless in Lane County. In addition to honoring the best dogs in each award category, there will be a buffet dinner (vegan option available) and live music by Satori Bob. It will be a fun event, especially if a dog you know is amazing enough to win a coveted Rover!

Nominate Your Dog
Is your dog a top dog? Nominate him or her for a Pro-Bone-O Rover Award. To nominate your dog for a Rover, upload a photo or short video of your dog (depending on category) that demonstrates his or her talent in one of the categories listed below. Photos should be 3-8 Mb, and submitted in jpeg format. Videos must be 1 minute or less and uploaded in mp4 format. To be considered for an award, photos and videos must be submitted by noon (PST) on April 22, 2017.
Vote on the Winners
Voting will be open through April 22. All vetted nomination videos can be viewed on Pro-Bone-O’s Facebook page. Anyone (excluding members of the Pro-Bone-O board of directors, Rovers committee, and their immediate family members) can vote for the best dog in each category (one vote per person per day). There is no cost to vote. The three most popular videos or pictures (determined by number of votes received) in each category will be the finalists. Finalist videos will be shown at the Rovers award show. The photo or video that receives the most votes in each category will be the winner. The winning videos and photos will be honored with a Rover trophy and certificate at the awards ceremony.
Videos (Hero Dog, Best Athlete, Talented Tricks, Best Kisser, Best Vocals) must be one minute or less, in mp4 format. Photographs (Best Smile, Look-a-Like) must be 3-8 Mb in jpeg format. All videos and photographs must be submitted no later than noon (PST) on April 22, 2017. Submitting a photo or video serves as consent for Pro-Bone-O to post the photo/video on our Facebook page. Nominees must live in the state of Oregon. A dog can only be nominated in one category. Photos and videos must be family-friendly, and Pro-Bone-O will review submissions before posting. Vetted photos and videos will be posted on Pro-Bone-O’s Facebook page. Voting will end at noon (PST) on April 22, 2017. Anybody (excluding members of the Pro-Bone-O board of directors, Rovers committee, and their immediate family members) can vote to determine the winners in each category. Each person can vote only once each day in in each category. The videos or photos of the top three dogs in each category will be shown at the Rovers award ceremony (May 6, 2017). If fewer than 3 photos or videos are submitted in any category, then the category may be eliminated at the discretion of Pro-Bone-O. It is highly desirable that the people submitting the top 3 photos or videos in each category attend the awards show. If a finalist finds it difficult to attend due to financial restrictions, a reduced ticket price will be considered at the discretion of Pro-Bone-O. If a finalist is unable to attend, please notify Pro-Bone-O so we can appoint someone to accept an award at the event if needed. Members of the Pro-Bone-O board of directors, Rovers committee, and their immediate family members are ineligible to nominate or vote in any category.
