Staff Spotlight: Dr. Elyssa Armstrong

Originally from Washington state, Dr. Armstrong graduated from veterinary school at Oregon State University.

As a vet student, she volunteered with Pro-Bone-O and was hired in January to work as our staff veterinarian during our weekend clinics.

Dr. Armstrong believes in treating each patient as an individual and working with clients to create the best plan.

In her time outside of Pro-Bone-O, Dr. Armstrong teaches the next generation of vets at OSU. For fun, she enjoys hiking, horseback riding, dancing, and spending time with her cat Gigi.

Did you know that Dr. Armstrong is our only paid veterinary staff member? Having a consistent veterinarian on staff means better care for our community's unhoused pets. Your donations are crucial for sustaining this lifeline for our furry friends.
